The notes app apology is a zeitgeist of our era - a precision calculated PR statement dressed in sweatpants to appear authentic. It sidesteps accountability and offers a thin veneer of vulnerability in its place, which is why I’m glad to see that we are collectively not falling for it anymore. This song began at the end of May as a response to the infamous LDR non-apology, but in the wake of #blackouttuesday and the exposure of racist behaviour from prominent influencers and media folk it feels deeply relevant to our present state.

100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Hogans Alley Society and the Wish Drop in Centre in the DTES of Vancouver.
